We know the volunteer who “does the tickets”: chasing cash payments, keeping track of who's sitting where, and hoping the door list is right on the night. We've stood at that door ourselves.
Most ticketing systems are built for festivals and big venues, with percentage fees that grow with your ticket price and features a village hall concert will never need. OnInFive is built the other way round: simple to set up, fair on fees, and designed around how community events actually work.

We're a small team, and we answer every email ourselves, usually within a few hours on working days. If something's not clear, or you're stuck setting up an event, we'll look at it with you and sort it out. We're on your side, and we want your event to be a success.
Our story
From a Derbyshire village hall
OnInFive is based in Tansley, a village in the Derbyshire Dales. It grew out of the concerts and shows that fill local halls, and the brass band world in particular, where we saw how much time volunteers spent on tickets, and how much of the money went on fees.
We launched in October 2026. Among the first events on OnInFive was the Tansley Christmas Proms, two nights of music in Tansley Village Hall. Every group that joins helps shape what we build next.
Our name
“On in five”
It's the call backstage before the curtain goes up: the work is done and the show is about to start. That's where we want every group to be: ready, with the tickets sorted.
